Preparation and Application of Nano-structured Lead Dioxide from Waste Lead Slag

To develop an efficient and green method to recycling lead slag, a novel strategy fabricate nano-lead dioxide from slag was applied by the hydro-electrometallurgy. In leaching system, optimum condition of time 100 min, 80 °C, stirring rate 500 rpm, liquid/solid ratio 20 1 mol/L methanesulfonic acid resulted in recovery 89% residue obtained without toxicity. The kinetic study revealed that shows good agreement with diffusion-controlled shrinking-particle model. Additionally, apparent activation energy MSA determined using Arrhenius model as 13.621 kJ/mol. Furthermore, Nano-PbO 2 recovered waste paste prepared for electrolysis water produce ozone. experimental results showed ozone production nano-PbO not significantly different pure reagents. conclusion, can be recycled fabrication , which has significant advantage on realizing resources.
